A dark mass emerges from a doorway, taking over the room. A sense of flowing, of being overwhelmed and engulfed.

The work stems from a reflection on the exercise of power, both in human relationships and in humanity’s domination of its environment, but also in the way we exert power over ourselves.

This torrent of anxiety and dark thoughts can overwhelm us, taking hold of our judgement, our minds and our bodies.
