Photographs of migrant children’s faces are enclosed in plastic sleeves filled with seawater and arranged in a row on the wall. A number replaces each child’s real identity.
They all came in the hope of living in freedom. Searched for by their families, they disappeared during the sea crossing or somewhere on the European continent.
Eroded by the seawater, their faces gradually fade away.
So many identities condemned to disappear in the very water that contains them.
